Lee Rail Under, Etching by Don SwannDon Swann was an American artist born in 1889. He studied art in Rome and Munich and lived in Baltimore until his death in 1954. Much of his work is in the permanent collections of the U. S. Naval Museum, the Smithsonian, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Library of Congress, as well as many private collections. His work included schools, universities, ships, trees, and a U. S. Navy series. This small etching is titled Lee Rail Under is signed

I wasn't expecting an extra piece on the back, unlike the other reviews, this book came in perfect. No scratches, no marks, it wasn't printed upside down. Fans buying this will enjoy the commentary regarding concepts, storyboarding, and background arts. Its exactly what I wanted! If there was one for Richter / Nocturne era, I would have bought it as well (and patiently waiting for it lol)!
