This was just an average MagSafe. Build quality is ok. The material, especially the plastic parts, feel cheap. The design is nothing to brag about. It can be mounted anywhere along the edge of the screen. Although it's marketed as for the Telsa Model 3/Y, It can be used with any cars with a tablet that fit's the dimension. I actually had problems installing it because I have a screen protector on and the added thickness resulting it the mount barely being able to squeeze it. Note the design prevents adjustments in certain mount positions as the end of the slider will run up against the lock nut. Magnetic strength is acceptable although I question the stability when the slider is at it's maximum extension with a phone mounted. Overall, it's perfectly functional but I would prefer something a bit more refined and minimalist.

Perfect Little Mount for Tesla Drivers

I like that this Tesla phone mount snaps onto the back of the screen cleanly and holds my iPhone with a strong MagSafe grip. It keeps the phone right where I need it without blocking the view, and the adjustable angle makes navigation super easy to see while driving. I do not like that it can wobble a tiny bit on rough roads, and the magnet isn’t as strong if you’re using a thicker case.
