This aquarium substrate contains all the mineral nutrients needed for luxuriant aquatic plant growth without nuisance algae. It will not increase pH or carbonate hardness, making it perfect for softwater loving species such as Tetras, Angelfish or Discus. The fit is true to size with an "athletic" cut, meaning it’s tapered enough to look sharp but has enough stretch and light enough to allow for a full shoulder turn during a golf swing.
