In 1954 an organisation called "The United Front of Goans" took control of the enclave of Dadra & the remaining territory of Nagar Haveli was seized by the Azad Gomantak Dal on 2 August 1954. Eventually, in December 1961, India militarily invaded and captured Goa, Daman and Diu.

It is not the most comfortable fabric which makes it not suitable for summer clothing. Also, the fitting of the neck doesn’t look good since material is not wrinkle free
