Sie ist sehr sanftmtig und keine groe Ruberbiene, sitzt beim bearbeiten sehr ruhig auf den Waben und luft nicht herum. Unsere Carnica haben einen sehr ausgeprgten Putztrieb, so dass sie gut gegen Krankheiten gewappnet sind (z. B. Kalkbrut, amerikanische Faulbrut). Sie fliegen schon bei relativ kaltem Wetter zum
