Patrice Rushen - Remind Me - The Classic Elektra Recordings 1978-1984 (Reissue) (remastered) (3LP)Joining Elektra after three albums with jazz label Prestige, Patrice had shown prodigious talent at an early age and had first broken through after winning a competition to perform at the Monterrey Jazz Festival of 1972. By the time of the recordings on this collection, she had become a prolific and in demand session musician and arranger on the West coast, appearing on over 80 recordings for other artists. She joined the Elektra Asylum roster in 1978

Flimsy

These shelves feel and look very flimsy. They’re hollow, and while the description says they’re made of wood, they feel thinner and less strong than particle board. The brackets are sturdy, and the instructions are clear. They’re easy to install. But, at least for the 12” deep shelves, the bracket poles are shorter than the depth of the shelves, so the shelves sag at the front. Pretty disappointing.

Great value!

Really sturdy and a great value for the money. Almost idiot proof when putting it together, too. The drawing is very specific, and everything is really well marked and numbered. This isn’t fine furniture, but it really is a great value for the money!
