I love the reassuring title, God Never Gives up on You. I think this book is more about God than it is about Jacob. I particularly enjoy & appreciate Max Lucado's writing style especially when he interjects clever humor that aids in understanding his message. And his message is an especially encouraging one...God is not looking for opportunities to judge, chastise or punish His children. But rather, He wants to bless us, so He continues to give us grace that we can never earn nor deserve... And although Jacob's story makes it clear that God doesn't wink at sin, it also demonstrates what an awesome, loving & kind God we serve! Thanks, Max, for giving us such a beautiful, well-written glimpse into the character & love of God & His awesome grace

I love how he gives scripture throughout his books and examples of how we are no different than those of old who had the same troubles and trials. Gods Grace is there for me just as it was for Jacob and is for anyone else who believes and trusts in the Lord.
